damage
"A bang on the head, whiplash, excessive stress levels or an emotional trauma can all cause damage to the brain. At such times, the brain suffers a form of shock. It becomes stuck in an abnormal pattern of frequencies. Some neural pathways can become disturbed. Among other things, this can cause anxiety, depression, irritability, fatigue, hyperactivity, mood swings, confusion and sleep disturbances.”
Training from be more yourself is designed to help integrate parts of the brain that are currently not integrated due to trauma (emotional or otherwise) or damage. Once the brain is back in balance – once the rhythm of the brain waves has been restored – the rest of the system can adjust and repair itself.
- Example 1: you get tired at work very quickly and have problems concentrating. Your qEEG shows an imbalance in your brain frequencies. This imbalance can be worked on by means of operant conditioning. As a result, the brain learns to function in a new, more effective way. You no longer feel tired and can now concentrate for much longer.
- Example 2: you know that you have the potential to do better, but you just cannot seem to show it. Although you have taken all kinds of initiatives to fulfil your potential you cannot get rid of that nagging feeling. You choose to be more yourself in order to bring your potential to the fore. The qEEG shows the cause of that nagging feeling. You feel relieved that for the first time you can acknowledge this feeling and it is visible. Be more yourself has specific training methods to remove the cause, enabling you to fulfil your potential.
