FAQs: practical questions about the training session
What is the training programme like?
Our training programme consists of two separate elements:
- The intake interview.
- The actual training programme, in which intensive training, consisting of three brain training sessions per day, is spread over two modules. The first module is given over four successive days, the second module is given over three successive days (three weeks after the first module).
What happens during the intake interview?
The aim of the intake interview is to identify objectively your strengths and opportunities for growth. The intake interview consists of the following.
- RealDrives test: a tool that quickly reveals why people do what they do.
- Braverman test: a tool used to obtain a profile that shows the strengths and weaknesses of the neurobiochemical system.
- Intake interview on location (duration: two hours)
- qEEG: this is used to map your brain activity. It reveals opportunities for optimising brain functioning.
- Personal questionnaire: this is used to find out how you feel about your performance.
- Interview: we discuss your personal wishes and provide brief feedback on the findings of the qEEG.
- After analysing the input thoroughly we present the findings (your strengths and opportunities for growth) in a report that is sent to you by e-mail. We will then work with you to plan your own personal programme of training from be more yourself.
What happens during the intensive training programme?
You will be given a total of seven days' training, divided into two training modules, during which you will stay in a specially selected hotel located in a peaceful setting.
- First module: four days, three training sessions per day
- Interval (three weeks)
- Second module: three days, three training sessions per day
Is it possible for training to be given over fewer days?
This can be done. Training can be given in three shorter modules (two modules each involving two days of training, followed by one module consisting of three days of training). However, the programme needs to be completed in a short space of time, within four to five weeks. Having said that, the intensiveness of the training is reduced if training is spread over three modules.
How can I prepare for a training session?
You do not need to make any preparations. However, we do recommend that you relax and that after each training session you take some time to come round.
How will I feel after a training session? Will I be able to function normally?
Yes, you will feel good - clear-minded, mentally tired but content, and as if a burden has been lifted. Rest and relaxation ensure that the training session has a longer-lasting impact. That is why we offer intensive training in an environment where you also spend the night and where you will not exert yourself too much mentally.
Can training be arranged in a way that enables me to go home in the evening?
It can, but it will take longer to achieve results and the effects will not be as profound. The method used at be more yourself is designed to be as effective as possible in the shortest possible space of time. The results we achieve during seven days of training would otherwise take months of training to produce.
How can you achieve such effective results in just seven days?
Our intensive approach, based on providing training over a three-day period and a four-day period, ensures that what you learn during the training sessions can sink in properly.
This is often more difficult if you are at home. We therefore recommend that you do something relaxing in a calming environment, such as going for a walk, enjoying a sauna or having a massage, between training sessions and during the evenings.
The hotels where training is provided are therefore specially selected on the basis of the availability of such facilities.
